In a bid to bolster regional power generation capabilities, MUNPL, a joint venture between NTPC and UPRVUNL, hosted a pivotal Pre-bid Conference for its ambitious Meja Stage-2 Thermal Power Project on 26.06.24.
Meja Urja Nigam is all set to install three additional units of 800 MW each under its expansion plan for Meja Stage 2.
Established on April 2nd, 2008, with an initial 2X660 MW capacity under Stage-I, MUNPL is now advancing with Stage-2 to significantly contribute to both industrial and domestic electricity requirements.
The Pre-bid Conference served as a crucial platform, fostering transparency and offering detailed insights into project intricacies for prospective bidders and stakeholders.
Representatives from prominent firms such as M/s BHEL, M/s Thermax Pvt Ltd., and L&T Company actively engaged in the conference, both physically and through online platforms like Teams Portal. This participation underscored the industry's keen interest in partnering on this transformative endeavor.
